Metal transition strips for the joint where two floor coverings meet: different materials, different heights, or a doorway. Pre-fit and retrofit profiles for LVT, LVP, laminate, wood, tile, stone and carpet, in aluminum, brass and stainless steel.

Pre-fit profiles go in while the floor is being laid: the anchoring leg sits under the covering, so the profile ends up flush and the fixing stays out of sight. Retrofit profiles are fitted over the joint of a floor that is already finished.

About KT-Transition Profiles
Aluminum, brass or stainless steel
KT profiles are aluminum, mostly anodized in silver, sand or bronze, several also in black powder coat. KT-G also comes in seven wood decors and in polished stainless steel: solid and made for same-height floors with heavy loads and traffic. KT-F is also available in brass.
Tile to wood, carpet to tile
For a joint between two different coverings, KT-I covers the widest range: a self-adhesive retrofit strip for LVT, laminate, wood, ceramic tile and natural stone. KT-J is the retrofit strip for carpet; KT-H is pre-fit for carpet and hard floors alike.
Bendable and ADA-compliant versions
KT-A, KT-B, KT-C, KT-F and KT-G are also available bendable, for transitions that follow a curve. KT-G, KT-K and KT-L are ADA compliant.
Frequently asked questions
Which transition strip goes from tile to wood?
If both floors are down, KT-I: it is self-adhesive and fits LVT, laminate, wood, ceramic tile and natural stone. KT-G, KT-K, KT-L and KT-M also join tile and wood as retrofit profiles.
How long are the bars?
Küberit profiles come in bars of 8' 2-1/2" (2.50 m), and the price of a profile is per bar. End caps, inserts and accessories are sold as listed on their product page.
What does shipping cost?
$89 flat rate on orders of $400 or more, shipped as full-length bars. On smaller orders, choose the $89 rate with bars cut to 95" (2,414 mm) at checkout.
Where do I find dimensions and installation details?
Product pages include the Küberit data sheet with dimensions and installation steps, and most profiles also have a 3D preview.
Is there a warranty?
Küberit profiles are covered for five years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, when installed as described in the data sheet.
