Pre-fit nosings are installed together with the floor covering on a new or newly covered stair. Retrofit nosings are fitted onto stairs that are already finished.

About KS-Stair Nosing Profiles
Sizes, finishes and rounded step edges
Pre-fit nosings are sized to the floor covering: KS-A, KS-B and KS-C for resilient flooring from 1/8" to 5/16" (3–8 mm), KS-D and KS-E for resilient, laminate and wood treads up to 9/16" (15 mm), and KS-L for ceramic tile of 11/32" and 7/16" (9 and 11 mm). KS-C and KS-G are bull-nosed for rounded wooden step edges, and KS-D also comes bendable for curved stairs. Most profiles are anodized aluminum in silver, sand or bronze; KS-A is also available in black, KS-L in natural aluminum and KS-H in brass.
Anti-slip stair nosing for commercial stairs
A nosing adds grip at the tread edge and makes each step easier to see. The heavy-duty retrofit profiles KS-F to KS-J take exchangeable KS-PVC inserts, ridged or smooth, in ten colors from black, grey and beige to blue, red, yellow and fluorescent, so the edge can match the tread or stand out from it. KS-I has room for two inserts and is ADA compliant. Without inserts, the solid KS-K has a deeply ridged surface; KS-D, KS-E and KS-L are ridged as well.

Which nosing works on a stair with mixed coverings?
KS-F, KS-G and KS-K. All three are retrofit profiles that take every type of floor covering.
How long are the bars?
Küberit profiles come in bars of 8' 2-1/2" (2.50 m), and the price of a profile is per bar. End caps, inserts and accessories are sold as listed on their product page.
What does shipping cost?
$89 flat rate on orders of $400 or more, shipped as full-length bars. On smaller orders, choose the $89 rate with bars cut to 95" (2,414 mm) at checkout.
Where do I find dimensions and installation details?
Product pages include the Küberit data sheet with dimensions and installation steps, and most profiles also have a 3D preview.
Is there a warranty?
Küberit profiles are covered for five years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, when installed as described in the data sheet.
