KO-Original Profiles
Metal edge trim that finishes and protects the exposed edge of a floor covering: where two floors of different heights meet, at a doorway, or wherever an edge would stay open. In aluminum and stainless steel, for LVT, laminate, wood, tile, stone and carpet.

About KO-Original Profiles
Edge trim, floor trim or molding?
The terms are used interchangeably, but they do different jobs. Floor molding covers the joint between floor and wall. Edge trim, which is what KO profiles are, finishes the exposed edge of the floor covering itself. Because that edge takes the wear, KO profiles are made of aluminum and stainless steel rather than wood or MDF.
Sizes, finishes and installation
KO-A covers the widest range: 14 sizes from 1/16" to 7/8" (2–22 mm), punched, solid or bendable, in natural and anodized aluminum, black powder coat and polished stainless steel. KO-B (1/8" to 9/32") and the ridged KO-C (5/16" to 7/8") are countersunk for screws; the double-sided KO-D (5/16" to 9/16") finishes laminate and wood. A punched leg is bedded in the adhesive or mortar, a countersunk profile is screwed down.
Bendable for curved edges
The bendable KO-A has a perforated leg and can be bent on site to follow a curved floor edge, for example around a column or a rounded counter.
Frequently asked questions
Which KO profile works with tile and stone?
KO-A. Its punched leg is bedded in the tile adhesive under the edge of the tile, in a size that matches the tile thickness.
How long are the bars?
Küberit profiles come in bars of 8' 2-1/2" (2.50 m), and the price of a profile is per bar. End caps, inserts and accessories are sold as listed on their product page.
What does shipping cost?
$89 flat rate on orders of $400 or more, shipped as full-length bars. On smaller orders, choose the $89 rate with bars cut to 95" (2,414 mm) at checkout.
Where do I find dimensions and installation details?
Product pages include the Küberit data sheet with dimensions and installation steps, and most profiles also have a 3D preview.
Is there a warranty?
Küberit profiles are covered for five years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, when installed as described in the data sheet.
